Jazz is the starting point but certainly not the only frame of reference at So What’s Next?
On Friday 3, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 November 2017, the fifth neon-lit edition of the renowned jazz and beyond music festival takes place in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

At venue Muziekgebouw Eindhoven – also the heart of the festival – and at several locations in the city centre, approximately fifty live acts will take the stage during three packed festival days. Expect concerts of headliners and showcases of up-and-coming artists with crossovers of jazz, hiphop, soul, world, electronics, and classical music.

This year the festival features Jacob Collier, Avishai Cohen Quartet, Zara McFarlane, Donny McCaslin, Ambrose Akinmusire, Shabaka & the Ancestors, Mark Guiliana Jazz Quartet, Steve Lehman & Ala.ni on Saturday 4 November.

On Sunday 5 November Sow What’s Next? will host 30 showcases of amongst others Daymé Arocena, Knower, Gabriel Garzón-Montano, Xamvolo, Aruán Ortiz, De Beren Gieren, Bram Stadhouders & the Big Barrel Organ. More to be announced.

During previous sold out editions in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, So What’s Next? featured Ibrahim Maalouf, Laura Mvula, Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, Colin Stetson, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Marcus Strickland’s Twi-Life, Makaya McCraven, Jameszoo Quartet, Joris Roelofs Gregory Porter, Kamasi Washington, José James, Snarky Puppy, Ibrahim Maalouf, Hiatus Kaiyote, Typhoon, Eric Vloeimans, Chris Dave, David Virelles, Shai Maestro, Ben van Gelder, Kandace Springs, Noname, Theo Croker, Xenia Rubinos, Brandeed Younger & many many more.
